Here’s some definitions of terms used in the graphic above.

Short ton: a unit of weight equal to 2,000 lbs.

Killowatt Hours (kWH): a measure of how much energy one is using. A measurement equal to the amount of energy used if a 1,000 watt appliance was kept running for an hour. Example: if you switched on a 100 watt light bulb, it would take tn hours to rack up 1 kWH of energy.

CO2: carbon dioxide.

VOCs: short for volatile organic compounds. These particles are emitted from certain solids or liquids used for cosmetics, degreasing, disinfecting, and hobbies.
